Who woulda thought I'd become a work of art?

The last full week of radiation...and a sigh of relief. Today I thought of
Picasso's painting of the
girl before a mirror because
that's what I am feeling as
I have geometric shapes of varied sizes reinked in colored marker on one side
of my body. It has become much easier to slip into the daily routine of doctor and
hospital visits which have had to be scheduled around my weekly dates of creative furvor. Next Tuesday the ritual to which I have become accustomed, will finally end and I can begin to feel whole again. The past weeks have shown promise with the completion of new works and this one starts out with lots of sun and optimism. Next week I leave for my long awaited trip for research to the Mediterranean Costa Blanca
region in Spain and also to London. 2007 will lead me hopefully back to the Cinque
Terre (Italian Riviera). Lots to do this week prior to packing. I am excited about the discovery of new
horizons.
