Amore Italia 2 - A brief look back to 2006
Thursday, January 04, 2007 A brief look back to 2006
So glad that the furvor and general chaotic activity from the last month and the
holidays is over so that I can get back to painting! I
do need, however, to take some time to celebrate my first season in my new business and to look forward
to a new promising, prosperous upcoming year with
exciting challenges. It starts with a second solo
show with an opening reception on the twenty-fifth
and works on display locally
at the Pavilion Center I,
located at the end of the
expressway. The works will be on sale through March of
this year. Vacations are planned for research in the
Bahamas, Key West, and the
Cinque Terre of Italy. There
is even an invitation looming for teaching a watercolor painting school
offered in the months of
September and October on the
border of Umbria and Lazio at Castello Caterini...If
that works out, I will really
be ecstatic!! I have been
able to finish the first work
of this year from my Costa
Blanca, Spain trip last fall
and other works are just waiting to be born!! I need
to review the past year and
decide on my marketing goals
for this one. A January artist telesummit will get me
started toward many of these.
My health and well-being is
good at this stage and I also plan to work on volunteering for the Komen
Foundation in the Spring.
I am filled with optimism
about life. I'll borrow the
commercial caption from
Mickey D's: I'm lovin it.
Tante cose.
The latest painting and the
first of the new year,
Costa Blanca.
