Spring....Let the painting begin!

My latest painting in the Key West series, Key West Still Life...

The return of Spring...la Primavera, yet not quite as
idyllic as the scene of Botticelli. Plagued in winter's previous months by attempted internet scams, the arrival of yellow pollen sinus headaches and the down's
of the art business, I am feeling more optimistic with the arrival of more news of
upcoming art fests and acceptance into another juried event, this time a wine, jazz, and art fest in
May in Hampton. My goal is to complete at least one more large painting before
the first of May. The calendar begins to fill quickly with the addition of a variety of
social activities and I am
also excited that each day brings me closer to the fall
when we will go with our friends back to Italy, to Florence and the Cinque Terre. In the meantime I have
completed one more painting
from the Key West series and
will now start work on a
painting I have wanted to do of the Cinque Terre. Still
waiting for posts and continued sales and traffic
on the website. Living well,
loving much, and laughing
often (or trying to )while working on my
painting and my Italian....
a presto.
